My fiancé and I moved from Chimacum to Quilcene in early 2024 and have been grateful to become part of such a welcoming community. We feel very grateful to live on this beautiful peninsula.

In our free time we love being outdoors doing activities such as hiking, fishing, shellfishing, kayaking, edible mushroom hunting, raising chickens, and gardening.

Our small family includes us and our flock of rescued parrots that we care for like our own kin. Quilcene has quickly become my home and we hope to raise a family here as well, so someday our children can enjoy some of these same experiences.

I joined the Quilcene School District in 2025 as a paraeducator and substitute. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I feel honored to be part of the district and to support students through the Pearl Program and homeschooling community. Working with our youth through paraeducating has brought me so much joy, and I am excited to continue helping students learn, grow, and succeed.
