P.E.A.R.L.

My family and I live on the western side of the mountains and enjoy nature and wildlife. I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart and we have three adult children. I enjoy animals, gardening, and time spent outdoors.  

I joined the Pearl team to support the individualized nature of homeschooling and come to this work as a former homeschool parent, myself. Believing in the power of individualized education is also what led me to pursue my Master's degree in Special Education after earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Additionally, I have experience as a K-12 principal and Special Education Director. I have taught in both Washington and Idaho, including 6 years with incarcerated youth.
