7th-8th grade families: Don't forget about this great Washington State HIstory asynchornous class available to students! Washington Wayfinders is a story-driven Washington State History course for 7th–8th graders. Guided by two fictional mentors, Willa and Leo, students complete immersive weekly missions blending exploration of content, hands-on projects, and reflective writing. Additionally, students will choose one PBL project to complete after each week of learning. The format for this 16 week course is 1 week of content learning followed by 1 week of Project Based Learning (PBL). Designed to engage both heart and mind, this standards-aligned course helps students see how history shapes identity, place, and community.
