I have been a PEARL teacher for 9 years now, and I love my job of helping families pursue their goals of home-based schooling with their children! I hold a BA in Interdisciplinary studies/Elementary Education and an MA in Elementary Mathematics Education from Western Governors University. Before transferring to PEARL I taught first grade in a private school, and then two years of Kindergarten/1st combined at Quilcene Elementary.  My husband Richard grew up in Quilcene and graduated from Quilcene high School!

We now live in beautiful  Quilcene with our three boys.  As a family we love reading books, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and playing sports. I also run and enjoy competing in local races. I love getting to know my students by hearing about what they enjoy learning and doing, what books they like, and what pets they have!
