Cleland, Jenelle
Special Education Teacher, LAP Coordinator and Teacher
I began teaching 25 years ago after graduating from Central Washington University. During these 25 years I have experience in Kindergarten through 12th grade and have taught in the general education, special education, and alternative education environments. I am returning to Quilcene, from North Kitsap, where I taught general education and special education at the high school level in the Brick and Mortar school from 2015 - 2019. Quilcene is a special place and holds a dear spot in my heart.
For that reason, I was excited to join the PEARL team as one of the Special Education teachers for the program at the beginning of the 2022/2023 school year. I am looking forward to my 3rd year in PEARL.
My husband and I live just outside of Quilcene with our cat, Dega and goldfish, Beast. We have lived on the Olympic Peninsula for the last 9+ years. It is such a beautiful place and we are blessed to be surrounded by our amazing family and great friends. We enjoy traveling, kayaking, fishing, gardening (mostly Garlic), baseball (Mariners), and football (Seahawks).
